The Elora Environment Centre is a not-for-profit environmental organization specializing in ecoENERGY home energy evaluations. Our certified energy advisors perform home energy audits throughout much of south-central and southwest Ontario - from Tobermory to Windsor. We started doing home energy audits in 1998 as part of the Natural Resources Canada pilot program, and have completed more than 20,000 since then. We are a registered charity and a founding member of Green Communities Canada.
Our focus is on providing leadership in community-based environmental initiatives for both urban and rural communities. We have experience in the following areas:
The organization began as The Elora Centre for Environmental Excellence in 1993 with a small group of forward-thinking citizens who had a vision of making the Village of Elora a greener and healthier place to live. This vision has now spread to communities throughout Ontario.
